Tonight’s class was the last of 2008!  Tucson Chayon-Ryu is on break until Tuesday, January 6th, when regular classes will resume.  Have a great vacation, everyone!

First, a quick reminder for our students: there will be no class on Saturday, August 30th.

And now, on to the Baby Fair!

We’re waiting to confirm the winner of our raffle prize – one full month of instruction plus enrollment fee – but the response to our presence at the Baby Fair was so positive that we’ve decided to offer a special deal to all attendees.

During September and October, we’ll be holding special introductory classes on Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am, and we’re offering one month’s worth of these classes for free to new students! That’s four free lessons per person or family! This is your opportunity to try our class and see if it is a good fit. Regular fees will apply after the introductory period. Class size is limited, so call 235-4034 and leave a message to reserve your spot!

It was great chance to perform – even in tight quarters – and get to talk to people about Chayon-Ryu. Class participation was enthusiastic and everyone had a good time.

Reminder:

Regular class is canceled for this Saturday, the 16th of August. Instead, Tucson Chayon-Ryu will be participating in the Baby Fair at the Tucson Community Center from 9-3. Students can earn lesson credit for helping out at our booth while giving potential new students a chance to learn a little about Chayon-Ryu.
